What a difference Comfort in Care has made to our lives. It is difficult to put into words how thankful we are to have such a great match with the live in carer thanks to Philippa. Embarking on a path like this is not an easy decision, however as it is a decision that I am so glad to have made. Things had got to a stage where I felt my own health was suffering. I felt I should carry on being the principal carer for my Mother however I was vastly underestimating how exhausting it is. I was impressed by the fact that Philippa made sure that we had a great match with the carer and that she, herself was happy to be involved from a practical point of view so she stayed with us and did the handover. Since Islay arrived she has very quickly become part of the family. She is bright, attentive, an exceedingly good cook and an extremely intelligent person who’s company is a delight. She has made the atmosphere here much calmer and has put both our minds at rest that we are doing the right thing. I’m impressed by how Comfort in Care have very high standards for their care and really can’t recommend highly enough. If you are in the place I was, wondering what to do in what can be a minefield when looking for the right carer, I really would suggest you need not look further.
